True Barre
Where the Ballet Bar meets Yoga & Pilates. Barre is a total body workout based on a fusion of pilates principles and ballet exercises. Burn body fat and build lean muscle through small isometric movements, cardio, and strength training. In addition to using the ballet bar, True North incorporates other props such as gliders, stability balls. hand weights, and exercise bands. Sculpt your body like never before.

Spring Board
We offer a 6-person mixed level Springboard and Mat class at True North Pilates. Mat work is the heart of Pilates. This class focuses on strengthening the core while increasing overall flexibility. A Pilates Springboard consists of a plywood board attached to the wall, complete with reformer springs and roll through bars. One of the greatest benefits of Springboard classes is the ability to change the tension to suit each student and each exercise. The variety of exercises is limitless, making each class a new challenge.

Reformer Studio Classes
Foundations Reformer
Foundations Reformer focuses on form and technique at a slower pace. It’s a perfect introductory class for beginner students who want to build a strong foundation, but also great for students who wish to review Pilates fundamentals to insure accuracy and stability before moving toward advance work. Foundations Reformer applies a rehab-based approach to the Pilates Reformer work, making it a perfect class for those suffering from back pain, sports injuries, neuromuscular disorders, Parkinson’s as well as the actively aging. Level 1

Athletic Reformer
Athletic Reformer is a full body workout, suitable for all fitness levels. We provide an upbeat, encouraging setting, while staying true to our traditional Pilates principles. You can expect to strengthen and tone all major muscle groups, with an emphasis on your core. In addition to using the Pilate Reformer Apparatus, you can also expect to use other props such as hand weights, stability balls, and magic circles to create an added challenge and variety to our traditional pilates. Level 1-2

This is an Athletic Reformer type class using an array of equipment with a Barre twist. This is a great class to work on your core and keep your heart rate up! Level 1-2

Power Reformer
Power reformer classes at True North will typically be offered in 30 min sessions during lunch hours. Power reformer amplifies the Athletic Reformer classes with fat burning benefits of high intensity interval training (HIIT). This class will give you the reformer workout you love but in an interval format where you will alternate between reformer and short cardio bursts on the jump boards. This class is the perfect mix of calorie blasting, high intensity exercise with the Pilates principles and equipment that we all love. Level 2-3
